The views from the roof terraces were absolutely mind-blowing, offering a jaw-dropping panorama of the surroundings. The lush plants on the room level created a super cozy and refreshing ambiance. The location, though slightly out of the way, ensured a tranquil stay with no traffic noise. Admittedly, a few roosters were there, but I quickly got used to their charming presence. The kitchen was well-equipped and clean, making cooking a delight. The stay was so incredible that I extended for an additional two weeks, and the generous discount made it all the more enjoyable.

The rooms at Hostal Chasqui are simply stunning! The patios offer breathtaking mountain views, making it the perfect spot to relax and soak in the beauty of Otavalo. And if you're lucky, some rooms even come with balconies, where you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while taking in the fresh air. I couldn't ask for a better ambiance as a solo traveler!
One thing that I personally didn't enjoy was the private entrance in the quadruple room. But hey, that's just my preference.

The rooms at Hostal Chasqui are amazing! I stayed in the double room, and let me tell you, it had everything I needed and more. The balcony was just perfect for enjoying my morning coffee while taking in the breathtaking mountain view. And having a DVD player in the room was a nice touch for winding down after a long day of exploring. Plus, the private entrance in the quadruple room gave us that extra bit of privacy we craved. It was such a cozy and comfortable stay.
The only thing I didn't love was that some of the rooms had a desk. Personally, I didn't need it, and I found it took up unnecessary space.

I recently stayed at Hostal Chasqui for a few days while exploring the area. The comfortable bed, cozy blankets, and ample towels made my stay incredibly comfortable. The water pressure and hot water were consistent, which was a plus. The charming ambiance and old-world architectural style added character to the place. The balcony and roof terrace were fantastic for enjoying the city view and stargazing. The proprietor, Roberto, provided exceptional service and personal attention to every detail. He made me feel like I had made a new friend, and I look forward to seeing him again on my next visit. The overall experience surpassed my expectations and the price was reasonable.
Would recommend this hotel.

As longer-term business travelers, we appreciated the superb host, Roberto, who made us feel at home and went above and beyond to assist us. His street map with tourist spots and cost information was top-notch, and his recommendations for taxis and restaurants were on point. the views from the roof terraces were stunning, and the plants on the level where the rooms were added a nice touch. the location was peaceful with no traffic noise, and though there were roosters nearby, we quickly got used to them. the kitchen was good, and we enjoyed the discount given for our extended stay.
Felt cozy, no complaints.
